The appeal marked by one S.S Umar peruses, "We are presenting this gripe against one Mubarak Bala of Layin Massalaccin Bilai, Karkasara quarters, Kano.

"The said Mubarak was brought up as a Muslim however for his very own explanation chose to leave Islam for secularism at some point in 2014 and has from that point forward been composing stuffs on his Facebook page that are provocative and irritating to Muslims."

Mubarak Bala was captured by two cops, who were not on mufti at his home and was taken to Gbabasawa Police Station in Kaduna.

An individual from the Bala's gathering, who talked with SaharaReporters, said they were requesting for the prompt and unqualified arrival of the extremist.

He stated, "We at Humanist Association of Nigeria are profoundly stressed by the capture and confinement of our leader, Mubarak Bala.

"Mubarak Bala will probably be given over to the Kano State Police Command that will arraign him for sacrilege, a wrongdoing that conveys a capital punishment under sharia law.

"We ask the Inspector-General of Police, legislative head of Kaduna, Mallam elrufai, to guarantee his prompt discharge."
