FG Apologizes For Violation Of Social Distance Order At Late Abba Kyari's Burial

The Federal Government has offered a statement of regret to Nigerians for abusing the request on social removing during the internment of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, in Abuja on Saturday.

Secretary to the Federation (SGF) and the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, offered the statement of regret on Monday during the day by day instructions by the team.

"The PTF perceives, deplorably, the unexpected infringement of the standards and conventions that structure the center of our message to Nigerians at the burial service of the late head of staff," the SGF said.

"These standards, for accentuation, incorporate the direction gave on mass get-togethers, social removing, individual cleanliness, and limitation of development. Exercises have been learnt and suitable measures have been taken to close all holes."

Talking on the late Kyari, Mustapha said: "He was completely dedicated to guaranteeing Nigeria reacted adequately to the test of COVID-19 and he passed on in the line of obligation.

"We will consistently recall his hearty endeavors, his devotion, and unflinching duty to reinforcing Nigeria's ability to deal with the effect of this pandemic."
